Ellen Brickley lives in Dublin, where she reads and writes lots of contemporary YA fiction.
Her writing has appeared in Dublin: The Complete Resident's Guide (Explorer Publishing), on IrishTimes.com and on Children's Books Ireland. Her proudest writing moment was being featured on OffBeatBride.com talking about how to buy a wedding dress if you have panic disorder. She has also written app content on a freelance basis and sometimes gets asked to edit interesting things for interesting people.
Her creative non-fiction has appeared in Banshee and her advice on taking part in Nanowrimo can be found on writing.ie, along with round-ups of useful links for writers.
She does not write sitting in the kitchen sink but loves Dodie Smith anyway.
